This year, more than ever, “We the People” need our voices to be heard. This agenda will be presented to candidates seeking office, and we are committed to holding elected officials accountable. 

• Food Assistance & Healthcare - Protect and increase federal and state funding for SNAP, Medicaid, Medicare, mental health services, and affordable healthcare.
• Workforce Development - Increase federal and state funding for proven workforce programs such as Project VIDA that prepare residents for high-demand careers with family-sustaining wages.
• Drainage, Water & Infrastructure - Increase federal, state, and local investment in flood protection, drainage, safe drinking water, road repairs, and public transportation in neglected neighborhoods and colonias.
• Immigration - Reform the immigration system, protect due process, stop family separation and indiscriminate enforcement against long-term residents, and create a pathway to Residency for Dreamers. 

Valley Interfaith is nonpartisan. We do not endorse political parties or candidates; we endorse and organize around our agenda of issues.
